Dr. Chris Comeau was born and partly raised in Quebec, Canada but made his home in California. After graduating from UC Davis in 1998, Dr. Comeau has been steadily practicing in the Bakersfield area, predominantly on horses.

"After attending a lecture/demonstration on Equine Body work by Aleta, my normal interest in alternative healing methods was peeked even further," said Chris. "I consulted Aleta and we worked together on one of my patients named Midnight. I had exhausted my normal methods and nothing worked to bring him sound. But when Aleta worked on him, I saw the improvement immediately. That was when I decided there would be a real value in being part of this cutting edge research. I was excited about integrating my medical expertise with Aleta's alternative health care approach."

"My first collaborative research project with Aleta is Noble, a 3 year old (recently gelded) sent home from the race track with a horrific injury. The entire left side of his hind end had atrophied into a huge crater of nothing. Noble could barely walk and I truly believed there wasn't anything that could be done. Then Aleta began work on Noble and the results were as close to a miracle as I, as a vet, could concede. A horse with no left butt is almost normal looking, galloping and bucking around the pasture and I'm excited to be a part of this project and a part of Omni Equus Research Center."
